Eye bags be gone 👋🏻
First up, here’s a trick that will let you look like you have actually managed to squeeze some sleep into your hectic schedule. Just put two metal teaspoons in the freezer for 5-10 minutes (or leave them in overnight if you’re feeling organised), and then gently place the back of them on your under-eyes. A delicate massaging motion will help to eradicate puffiness and reduce the appearance of dark circles 🙀
It’s all about the eye cream application ♡
When applying eye cream use your ring finger, moving it in an inward to outward tapping motion. A simple trick but moving in this direction helps to drain fluid from the eye area, reducing both puffiness and eye bags!
Mascara faux-pas fixed in seconds 😿🔜😅
Made a mascara mistake? Using your good ole spoolie (eyebrow shaping tool) rub over your makeup mishap and watch as your smudge disappears like magic 🧙🏻♀️ Et voila!
Wave bye-bye to split ends 👋🏻👋🏻
The friction when moving around during your sleep can cause split ends (I hear you all cry) 🙀…But you’ll be pleased to know there’s a remedy for this 😇Simply invest in a silk pillow case as this will reduce friction on the hair because of its lovely, smooth surface. Not only this, it will also help tame frizzy hair, keeping the kinks at bay by not extracting the moisture in your hair, unlike cotton pillowcases 🙅🏻♀️ Another perk, your face will stay more hydrated and the silky surface will reduce the appearance of face crinkles when you wake up 💭💦

Hair feeling dehydrated and brittle? Grab your coconut oil from the kitchen and rub it in the palm of hands to melt it. If it’s too hard, put it in the microwave for a couple of seconds before massaging the oil through your hair, combing it right out to the ends to ensure equal distribution. Finish up by plaiting your hair, then go to bed and wash it off in the morning to reveal perfectly silky, shiny hair… ahhhh 💘
You’re applying your concealer wrong girlll 👁
Similar to your eye cream, when applying under-eye concealer use your ring finger as this not only makes for lighter pressure and a less harsh touch on the delicate skin around your eyes, but also the natural warmth of using your finger helps to melt the concealer into the skin ♡
The key to contouring 🔑🗝
When it comes to facial contouring all you need to remember is the magic number 3. For the best application follow the shape of a 3 on both sides of you face, starting from the hairline, down to the hollow of your cheeks and finishing along the jawline. 💋
Intensifying your eyeshadow 💦
Simply wet your brush before dipping it in to your eyeshadow as this will intensify the pigment, creating a more dramatic, eye-popping look 💁🏼♀️
The on-the-go eye look using bronzer 👁
If time is of the essence a quick eye look can be achieved by using your everyday bronzer on your eye. This makes for a neutral eye look, that’s natural yet dashing ⏰
Perfect liner 👁💎
Using sellotape cut an inch-sized piece of tape for each eye and place flat on the back of your hand as this helps reduce the stickiness of the tape so they are not too harsh when it comes to sticking them on the eye area. Then place each piece under the eyes at an angle that leaves the end of the tape finishing at the end of your brows. Follow the top of the tape with liner, allow to dry for a few seconds and repeat on the other eye. Then peel off the tape to reveal perfect, even eyeliner. NB: if you are still feeling a bit anxious, use dark eyeshadow and a dampened brush instead of liquid eyeliner, to achieve a less dramatic liner look.
